The death is announced of Mr. Edward Voyou Ricks, former Migistrate of the Brewerville Magisterial Court and former Sheriff of Montserrado County, Liberia.

Mr. Ricks died on Friday, July 18, 2008 following a protracted period of illness. He was 67 years old.

He is survived by his wife Mrs. Lemu Ricks of Brewerville, several children, Stephen A. Ricks and Rev. Austin Ricks of Fort Worth, Texas in the USA; Edward Jr.; Arimenta, Nancy, Bian, Ernest and Arenal Ricks and Roland Giah and Leona Horace of Liberia.

Two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Cece Nyarko of Liberia and Madam Malinda Ricks of the USA, a host of relatives and friends, also survive him.
