Gabrielle Kemah Gworlekaju

Although public corporations have been a part of our national life, they remain basically unproductive and obscure in the general policy approach toward national development, a status they no doubt find convenient. While toiling in obscurity, they manage communication, power generation, airport and seaport, petroleum, agriculture, housing and insurance. Public Corporations remain an important partner in reconstituting Liberia’s economy and in many ways the bedrock for economic stimulus. I am confident that Six Sigma can play an important role of reducing variations and defects in various processes and improve operational excellence at all levels.

As The Youngest Of The Gworlekajus Turns 4....

The Gworlekaju family is very large with more than two dozen brothers and less than 5 sisters, 30 or more uncles, 20 or so aunts, less than 5 grand parents but more than 50 in-laws and perhaps hundreds of friends.

Gabrielle Gworlekaju (pictured on the right) is one of two Americans in the family. She turns 4 today. Gabrielle who is affectionately called Kemah, named after her grandmother (father's mother), has been more than happy since last Saturday because of a variety of things: She is turning 4, and and has asked her dad to publish her picture for the world to see, and that, her cousin, another Gabrielle who will also be turning 4 in weeks, is spending the entire weekend with her (Kemah) to get the best the world can offer.

They both went to church on Sunday, took pictures and spent much time calling around telling people of the birthday which is today.

When one asks Kemah for her age, she often responds with he fingers indicating how many years old. She calls herself a Cinderella and strongly believes in DORA, BARNEY and THE PRINCESS, all regular cartoons on the Disney channels.

Gabrielle Kemah Gworlekaju is the youngest of three siblings of Gabriel Gworlekaju, the President and CEO of the African Media Network and Publisher of this website. She is lovely, adorable and very engaging. She is a lively and outspoken character, very articulate and smart.

Kemah's mother is Magdalene Menyongar, a Liberian, living and working as a nurse at Emory Eastside hospital outside Atlanta, GA USA.

Kemah's counsin, Gabrielle is daughter of Chris and Kemah Dillard, also living in Winder, Georgia. Kemah Dillard is cousin of Gabriel Gworlekaju, who is father of the birthday lady. Kemah Dillard's father, Mr. Emmanuel Leon who lives in California is Mr. Gabriel Gworlekaju's uncle from Gabriel's mother (the original Kemah) now living her old age in Liberia, West Africa; just to mention how families connect and grow.

On a day like this, we say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Gabrielle (Kemah) wish her all the best in the coming years. Best wishes also to all kids celebrating this day (eve of valentine's day).
